Louisa advises and represents clients in all areas of family law, with special interest in complex relationship property, estate claims, and matters relating to children.

 

Louisa Jackson (LLB Hons, BA) is a Senior Solicitor at Rachael Dewar Law. Prior to working in family law, Louisa was Crown Counsel at the Crown Law Office. She has a first-class Honours degree in Law, a bachelor’s degree in social policy, and has published academic articles relating to child protection and mental health issues.

Louisa is experienced in complex litigation and draws on this to provide strategic advice to her clients. She is happiest when helping clients resolve disputes in a positive and efficient way. If it becomes necessary to go to Court, Louisa is an able litigator and a strong advocate for her clients.

Louisa is empathetic, and clear headed. She values equity, fairness, and protecting the vulnerable. She enjoys being part of a diverse family and understands the challenges presented by family conflict. Louisa is an active mother of two young children and, in her few spare moments, will be found either on her yoga mat or out in the garden.
