I am an experienced litigator. I handle public law and complex commercial disputes, as well as trust matters.

 

I have over 15 years’ experience in a range of litigation matters in New Zealand and the United Kingdom.  My experience includes contractual disputes, insolvency and credit recovery, securities enforcement, property disputes, regulatory investigations, judicial review and trust law issues.  I have a particular interest in insolvency and trust related matters.  I enjoy editing the Buddle Findlay’s quarterly insolvency and restructuring newsletter.

I offer pragmatic and tailored advice on all dispute resolution processes, and all aspects of litigation strategy.  I am a skilled advocate, having appeared in the New Zealand Court of Appeal, High Court and District Court as sole and junior counsel on both substantive matters and applications for urgent relief.

I am passionate about mediation, and I am an AMINZ Accredited mediator, and Chair of my children’s school Board.

I live in Canterbury for family reasons, but continue to practice in Wellington.
