Chrystal Tocher
Chrystal is a senior associate in Russell McVeagh’s Government, Public Law & Policy practice.
Chrystal provides pragmatic advice to government and private sector clients to support them in achieving their goals and objectives, whilst ensuring compliance with legislative and regulatory frameworks.
She also assists clients to input on proposed legislative and policy changes in their sector, including through consultation and inquiry processes. Chrystal’s background in the public sector allows her to provide an insight into these processes and assist with effective advocacy.
Before joining Russell McVeagh, Chrystal worked at the Crown Law Office in the Attorney-General’s group, where she advised, and appeared in court, on matters involving constitutional law, human rights and charitable trusts. Prior to that, she worked at the Law Commission, where she was involved in a variety of legal and policy reform projects.
