I am currently Legal Counsel at Chubb Life Insurance New Zealand, working alongside a team of 3 other lawyers. I work on an incredibly wide range of matters across the business. Any legal advice the business needs, I’ll be there to provide helpful, pragmatic and informed legal advice.

In light of new conduct legislation, it has been fulfilling to be in a role where I can have a direct impact on guiding the business in implementing changes and practices to help achieve fair customer outcomes through the work I do. I assist in matters relating to customer outcomes, product development, governance, regulatory engagement, privacy, data protection, legal marketing reviews, procurement and legal risk management.

With all the developments happening in the insurance and financial services sector, its been an engaging period to be legal counsel. There has been and continues to be lots to learn and opportunity to grow, which I find the most fulfilling part of being legal counsel.
