Laura Shields
I am a commercial property lawyer with a focus on infrastructure, acquisitions and disposals, and large-scale property development.
I have over 10 years’ experience advising the Crown on projects designed to improve outcomes for iwi, hapū and Māori, including Treaty of Waitangi settlement negotiations and implementation, housing development on whenua Māori, and other disposals of public conservation land.
Before joining Greenwood Roche in 2014, I worked for the Ministry for Primary Industries, and prior to that, the Office of Treaty Settlements (now Te Arawhiti).
