Natalie is an Associate in Dentons’ Corporate and Commercial team, specialising in technology, privacy and consumer law.

 

Natalie advises on a broad range of commercial contracts, with a focus on technology. She advises clients on their procurement, delivery and ongoing use of technology.  Natalie also has experience advising on contracts with marketing partners, including creative agencies, customer insights/experience providers and data analytics and storage providers.

Natalie is experienced in advising on marketing propositions from the development stage through to delivery of campaign material, website copy and terms and conditions of offers to consumers. She also has experience drafting and advising on customer terms and conditions, as well advising on enforcement aspects of these. Natalie has also advised on the development of in-app offers to customers with a focus on compliance with relevant disclosure obligations and ensuring customers are suitably informed before making purchases and commitments in this context.

As a member of Dentons’ specialist privacy team, Natalie can advise clients on the privacy implications of new products, services and commercial contracts, as well as more contentious matters such as data breaches, personal information access and correction requests, and complaints.

With her in-house experience, Natalie knows the importance of understanding clients’ businesses and operating environments, and providing pragmatic legal advice that reflects this. Natalie enjoys working with clients to introduce or advance their businesses in the New Zealand market, and looks to provide practical and solutions focused advice.
