My practice spans all areas of family law — Care of Children, Family Violence, and Relationship Property. I’m approved to act as Lawyer for Child, regularly appointed by the Family Court to represent children, and I’m often called on as Counsel to Assist, stepping in to guide self-represented litigants or handle specific tasks when the Court requires an experienced lawyer. My work has taken me through the District Court, Family Courts nationwide, and into appellate matters in the High Court.

I thrive on the variety and challenge family law brings, and I work hard for the best possible outcome for every client. At the heart of it all is a simple belief: everyone deserves a good lawyer, regardless of income or social status.

I’m co-regional Hutt Valley Representative for the Family Law Section (alongside Frances Lints from Reids Family Law), organising events and professional development for family lawyers across the region.

I completed my Bachelor of Laws in Queensland, Australia, moving to Wellington in February 2017 — but not before spending eighteen months in Tokyo teaching English to kids and adults. For the past nine years, I’ve volunteered at the Community Law Centre in Lower Hutt, because I believe family lawyers have a responsibility to give back and champion access to justice for all.

Outside the office, you’ll find me reading, travelling, or out cycling with my husband — our family consists of two Norwegian forest cats, two rough collies, sheep, alpacas, and chickens.
