Zoe Dewhurst
I work across the full remit of trade mark work including searching, clearance, filing, prosecution, oppositions, enforcement, and portfolio management.
I have worked in the trade mark world for 20 years, having first started working as a trade mark examiner at the Intellectual Property Office of NZ (IPONZ) in 2006. I then moved to London where I gained experience working as a paralegal and responding to the United Kingdom and European Union Intellectual Property Offices. Since 2015, I have worked as a trade mark lawyer in New Zealand working across the full spectrum of trade mark matters with a focus on New Zealand, Australia, and the Pacific Islands.
I have significant experience working with local businesses, large international corporates, and international law firms across a wide range of industries including pharmaceutical, healthcare, fast moving consumer goods, food and beverage, pet care, entertainment, and cosmetics.
I am a fellow of the NZIPA (New Zealand Intellectual Property Attorneys Inc), and a member of the Intellectual Property Society of Australia and New Zealand (IPSANZ).
Outside of work I love to travel, and I am actively involved in helping the community, being part of the Zonta Club of Wellington. I also love quizzes, board games, beaches, and snowboarding.
